Strategic AI Briefing with Interactive Chat
A 16-page AI strategy delivered with an embedded chat interface so stakeholders could query the analysis in real time.
A SaaS company serving pharmaceutical manufacturing needed an AI strategy before competitors moved into their space. They had no internal AI capability, complex regulatory constraints (EU Annex 22), and needed to make investment decisions quickly. The leadership team needed a clear, defensible roadmap — not a generic slide deck.
We ran a focused strategic engagement: competitive analysis, regulatory mapping, customer procurement window analysis, and technology assessment. The output was not a presentation but a living document with an AI-powered chat interface that let stakeholders query the analysis.
How it works
Competitive and market analysis
Mapped the competitive landscape including adjacent threats from horizontal platforms. Identified the specific window where AI-native competitors could disrupt their positioning.
Regulatory and compliance mapping
Analysed how EU pharmaceutical regulations (Annex 22, data integrity requirements) constrain and shape the AI opportunity. Identified which AI approaches are viable within the regulatory framework and which are not.
Phased execution roadmap
Designed a two-track roadmap: product AI (deterministic-first, embedded in the existing platform) and internal AI (productivity tools for the team). Each track with clear milestones, resource requirements, and decision gates.
Interactive document with AI chat
Built the briefing as a web-based document with an embedded AI chat powered by Claude. Stakeholders can ask questions about any section, get citations back to the source analysis, and explore implications without scheduling another meeting.
Results
- 7 strategic recommendations across 2 execution tracks
- Clear competitive positioning against 4 identified threats
- Regulatory-compliant AI roadmap with phased investment gates
- Stakeholders can self-serve answers via embedded AI chat
